Bikes that left the shop this month
Every one of these was cleaned, checked and rolled out the door by hand. No bike leaves with a dirty drivetrain.
The shop
Mara Voss has been fixing Denver bikes since 2011
She started out of a garage on Yarrowglen Row, doing flat fixes for the messengers who rode past. Fifteen years later the shop has four stands, a wall of spokes, and the same rule: the bike gets fixed right, and you get told exactly what it cost before the work starts.
Mara races the Tuesday night crit series at City Park and rides the High Line Canal every Sunday. If you ask her what tire to run on Denver's goathead-strewn bike lanes, she will tell you — and she will not sell you the expensive one unless it's actually the right one.

Reviews
What Denver riders say
★★★★★"Blew a tube on the Cherry Creek trail with 20 miles to go. Mara had me back on the bike in 25 minutes and found the piece of glass I'd missed. $22 and a lesson in checking my tires."
★★★★★"My Aventon was throwing an error code and the shop I bought it from wouldn't touch it. Yarrowglen Row ran a full battery diagnostic, found a bad sensor, and had it fixed in two days. Honest about what they couldn't do too."
★★★★★"Full tune on my gravel bike before the Buffalo Creek trip. Chain, cassette, cables, bearings — the thing shifts like it's new. Mara texted me when it was ready and it was done a day early."
★★★★★"Joined the Winter Commuter Club last November and it paid for itself by January. Snow days, they get you in same-day. My drivetrain has never been cleaner in a Denver winter."
★★★★★"Hand-built wheel for my touring rig. Mara talked me through spoke count and rim choice like it mattered — because it does. 2,000 miles later, still perfectly true."
★★★★☆"Great work, fair prices. Only note: the shop gets busy Saturday mornings, so book ahead if you need a tune. Flat fixes are always quick though."

Questions
Things Denver riders ask before they come in
How much does a apartment fix cost at Yarrowglen Row Cycle Works?
A apartment fix is $22 for the labor plus the tube ($9 for a standard butyl tube, $14 for a thorn-resistant one). We do it while you wait, usually in 20 to 30 minutes, and we check the tire for the glass or goathead that caused it before we put the wheel back on.
Do you work on e-bikes?
Yes. We service Class 1, 2 and 3 e-bikes from Aventon, Rad, Specialized, Trek and Ride1Up. A full diagnostic with a battery health report is $65. We do not open battery packs or rebuild motors — those go back to the manufacturer, and we will tell you that on the spot instead of charging you.
Can I walk in without an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome for flat fixes, brake adjustments and quick safety checks any time we are open. For a full tune, wheel build or e-bike diagnostic, book a slot through the form so a stand is held for you — those jobs need bench time and we only run four stands.
How long does a full tune take?
A full tune is $95 and takes one day if you drop off before noon, or two days if you drop off in the afternoon. In winter we sometimes get through them same-day. You get a text when the bike is ready.
Where do I park when I drop off my bike?
There is a loading zone directly in front of the shop on Yarrowglen Row and a free two-hour lot on the corner of 28th and Calder. Bring the bike inside — leave it on the rack by the door, not locked to the street sign.
What is the Winter Commuter Club?
It is $39 a month from November through March. You get unlimited drivetrain cleanings, one full tune, priority same-day service when it snows, and free flat fixes. Cancel any month, no contract.
